Artistic Raw has been one of the most versatile Dutch dj’s for years, that the rest of the world was yet to discover. By mixing cassettes when he was a boy and trying to create beats during the early years of house music, this talented artist always dedicated his life to developing his unique sound.

Artistic Raw created bootleg packs as free downloads for his growing online community and has had the occasional release on Beatport, but again pushed himself in creating a new sound to keep on developing himself as a producing artist. Chuckie even honoured him as artist of the month on BBC Radio. While the popularity of the Dutch house sound went global, Artistic Raw established an own mixtape and club concept, The Drughouse. The popularity of this event and its sound were so popular, that Artistic Raw started performing not only in the Netherlands, but also in clubs all over the world. During this period he already received support by Hardwell, Tiesto, Makj, Chuckie, Blasterjaxx, David Guetta and many others.

Afrojack recently discovered the quality of Artistic Raw’s core sound and signed ‘Drop the Bass’ to his Spinnin’ recordings imprint ‘Wall Recordings’. Drop the Bass got full support of names like David Guetta, W&W, Showtek, Deorro, Diplo, Laidback Luke, Ummet Ozcan, Bassjackers,and many more.
