Jo Goes Hunting is the band of multi-instrumentalist Jimmi Jo Hueting.

Besides being a highly talented drummer, Jimmi Jo has been developing his own music using – besides his drumkit – analog synthesizers, guitars and drum machines. He creates his own magical world of sound: deep analog bass synths, spacey guitars, rhythmic variations and floating vocal harmony’s recorded on tape.

After graduating from the Conservatory of Rotterdam cum laude in 2015, Jimmi climbed on stage with his buddies Thierry Castel on synths, Sjoerd Krul on guitar, Daniël Eskens on bass and Hanne Peetermans on backing vocals. Together they are Jo Goes Hunting, a band that never sounds the same due to the personal twists given by each of the musicians every time they play.

The Act Of Leaving, the first single by Jo Goes Hunting, was released on July 17th 2015, and immediately rose to the 5th position in Spotify’s most viral songs worldwide. His clip Run Away became one of the editor’s picks on Vimeo and was highly praised on blogs all over the world.
