DJ Bass-D has been a dj since he was 14 years old. Back then he played in several small clubs in the Netherlands. In 1992, at 19 years of age, he won the dutch DJ Championships and short after that he started a dj tag-team together with King Matthew.

He played on every major hardcoe event around the world such as Megarave, Thunderdome, Mysteryland, Masters Of Hardcore, Multigroove, Hellraiser, Defqon 1, Decibal, Dominator, Hard Bass, Energy, Nightmare, Dance Valley and more.
Playing all over the world in countries like Australia, The USA, Russia and all over Europe he also found time to organize events like Masters Of Hardcore and Mindcontroller and produce several hardcore hits like Hold me now, Raveworld, In the mix, The masterplan, Like a dream, Get retarded, It’s alright and more. He collaborated with, and remixed artists like Buzz Fuzz, Paul Elstak, Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo, Re-Style, The Masochist, Outblast, Rotterdam Terror Corps, Darkraver, Gizmo, J.D.A., Isaac, The Viper & 4 Tune Fairytales.
